As part of TIFForum, TIFF 2026 brings together filmmakers, producers, industry professionals and cultural voices for a series of conversations around the ideas at the heart of this year’s edition.

From identity and belonging to representation, authorship, social change and the future of storytelling, the discussions will look beyond the screen to the people, systems and realities shaping cinema today.

Because cinema is not created in isolation. It is shaped by the people who make it, the societies they come from, and the realities they choose to bring into focus.

HUMANOGRAPHY is also about asking who gets to tell the story and whose reality gets seen.
