Mikel Garrido is a young Venezuelan director and cinematographer, born July 8, 1997, a scholarship student at the Escuela Superior de Cine y Medios Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC) in Spain. He has previously made shortfilms about migration and xenophobia such as "Free" or "Terruño". "We have Homeland" is his graduation shortfilm and right now he is developing "Turpial" a fiction feature film project.
