Nataly, a trans woman, is visiting her former lover Leon with her daughter Secreto in a mysterious reclusive community hiding from the Sun. These reunions will bring back the memory of a toxic and abusive relationship to Nataly.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Diego Céspedes
Diego Céspedes is a Chilean filmmaker. Born in 1995, he studied Film & Television at Universidad de Chile. He worked as a cinematographer and editor on several shorts in college, such as "Non-Castus" , which received special mention at the Locarno Film Festival. In 2018, he wrote and directed his first short, "The Summer of the Electric Lion" , which won the Cinéfondation First Prize at Cannes Film Festival and the Nest First Prize at San Sebastian Film Festival, and also was selected at Sundance, Palm Springs, Biarritz, AFI Fest, among others. Today, he is working on his first feature film, “The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo" , which takes place during the onset of the AIDS crisis in 1980's Chile. This project has been selected to be developed in the Cinéfondation Residence (Cannes Film Festival) and the Ikusmira Berriak Residence (San Sebastian Film Festival).
