DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Eero Tammi
Eero Tammi (b. 1983) is a Finnish filmmaker and editor whose last three experimental films have premiered in the international competition of the Oberhausen Film Festival. He holds an MA in film editing from Aalto University’s ELO Film School. Tammi has edited numerous works for visual artist Saara Ekström and collaborated with directors such as Zaida Bergroth and Mika Kaurismäki. He has also worked as a screenwriter for Estonian director Veiko Õunpuu and produced through his own company, Ragdoll Film Productions. He is a former staff editor at Filmihullu magazine, a contributor to the Finnish News Agency and YLE Radio 1, and served for five years as a Film Commissioner at the Finnish Film Foundation.
