DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Farhad Delaram
Farhad Delaram was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1988. He graduated from the University of Tehran with a master's degree in cinema. Besides working as an independent filmmaker, he has a 14-year-long career working as a screenplay writer. Farhad has made seven independent short films (as director, writer, cinematographer, editor, and sound editor). His last fiction short film, "Tattoo", was screened in more than 60 international film festivals winning the Crystal Bear at the 69th Berlinale in the Generation 14plus section, among numerous other awards. He is currently living in Berlin in a fellowship program hosted by Akademie der Künste where his last experimental film was screened for two months to the public.
