DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY​ - Mya Kaplan

Mya Kaplan is a Writer-Director and Cinematographer based in Tel Aviv. She is a graduate of the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television, Tel Aviv University. Her graduation film ‘Night Visit’ has premiered in the 2021 Cinéfondation, Cannes Film Festival. During her studies she wrote, directed and created the cinematography for several short films including co-productions with film schools in Poland and China. Alongside the cinematic work, she acted as the festival Director of the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival for two years. Mya is currently working on a TV series and her first feature film as a writer-director.
