Over the course of a day full of misfortune, a dancer who has been robbed of his ability to dance finds the strength to heal his wounds and dance one last time.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Joshua Jádi

Half-German, half-Hungarian, and fully devoted to the art of storytelling. Shaped by the teachings of Michael Haneke and Jessica Hausner, I'm now studying Film Directing in Barbara Albert's MA class at Filmacademy Vienna. I'm thankful to have participated in in Berlinale Talents 2025, Torino ScriptLab 2023, Reykjavik Talent Lab 2023, Sarajevo Talents 2022 and Locarno Academy Summer School 2019. My short films have travelled to over 50 festivals around the world. Most recently, my film Traces in the Forest premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival. When I'm not behind the camera, I curate Eastern European Cinema at FilmFestival Cottbus.
