He was born with the peculiar ability to move and remove his body parts. Throughout his life, he shares his body parts to people he loves. Until the day he died, all left from him is a torso with a faceless head. His mother is trying to recollect his body parts.

An Indonesian writer and director, focusing on family, social and political issues. Maychaelson was awarded as Rising Filmmaker in Popcon Asia 2018. This year, he continues to share his stories through a short film called ‘The Rootless Bloom’ competed in Wide Angle section of 28th Busan International Film Festival, 2023. His feature debut project with title, ‘The Burning Land’ also won fellowship prize from South East Asia Film LAB.
