Overview
Purgatory
90-s was the time when rock music transcended the purpose of being a means of entertainment. "Purgatory," according to Dante Alighieri, means "a temporary punishment." In analogy, a rock group with the same name in Pristina in the early 90s saw this period as an intermediate time that a society had to go through. To be cleansed of the past, towards freedom slowly but surely on the horizon. "Rockumentary'90" brings us the experiences of young artists in a persecutory system, where art is the only weapon against chauvinist punishment.
