In a world that keeps changing, PIGEONS follows a carrier pigeon who loses his job the day a telephone is installed in his owner’s home. Searching for food, shelter, and purpose, the film explores freedom, progress, and what gets lost along the way.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Amos Sussiganz
Amos is a Swiss director, production designer, and art director. Born in Locarno, he moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2009, where he established a distinguished career in the film industry. He gained recognition with award-winning animated shorts such as Broken Wing (2012) and Swan Cake (2013). He served as Art Director and Co-pro- ducer for Aria For a Cow (2015), which qualified for Academy Award® consider- ation in 2015. His short film Coaster (2019) also was eligible for Academy Award® consideration in 2019. Amos has worked with major studios including Warner Bros., Disney, and Netflix, and continues to contribute to high-profile animation productions. In 2022, he served as Production Designer on Andy Serkis' Animal Farm (2025), and recently wrapped work as Art Director on Warner Bros.' The Cat in The Hat (2026). His next project is the recently announced Hello Kitty Movie (2028) for Warner. Bros. Pictures Animation. Since 2020, he has been a Member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
