The names of loved ones, pets, memorable dates, sports teams, and places were among the most common, while random strings of letters and numbers turned out to be serial codes written on the side of mass-produced office printers.

Daniel McKee is a British video director and multimedia artist. Daniel's work explores the product of algorithms when used in counter-intuitive ways, using large pools of collected media as a starting point to be selected and edited by hand into open-ended narratives. His ongoing "Internet Works" have included repurposing Google Image search, meticulously scouring through user-generated photos for emojis, and assembling thousands of tourist photos taken at the Louvre with the Mona Lisa. McKee's work has been awarded three Vimeo Staff Picks and has been featured across a number of global platforms including BBC Arts, The Creators Project, and National Geographic. In 2019 Daniel was included on Saatchi & Saatchi's New Creators' Showcase.
