Between four walls, two women are waiting. One let death come and get her. The other that his life finally begins. Based on a recorded conversation, the film simulates their attempt to escape what they can't help but live, as they realise that "nothing" can sometimes be special.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Efrat Berger

Efrat Berger is a film director and editor, born in Israel and based in Paris. Holding a BFA in Experimental Film at Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design, and a MA in Cultural Studies from the Hebrew University, her graduation film « Gezoindelach » was screened and won prizes at Kasseler Dokfest, Ethnocineca, and others. In her works, Efrat creates realities of interdisciplinarity and play, while exploring the transformation of identities within the mundane. Currently developing her next short, « La Fosse »
