DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Ibrahim Omar
Ibrahim Omar is a Sudanese director. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Cinema in Cairo and holds a diploma in cinema from the French University in Egypt. He is the Founder of SHORT - Short Film Brochures Magazine and the Founder and Director of Port Sudan Film Days — an annual short films event held in the city of Port Sudan. Ibrahim has worked as a director and producer for a number of television channels over the past ten years, he has also directed several documentaries made for television. He previously supervised the cinema page in the Sudanese newspaper Al-Tayyar, which is the first specialized cinema page in the Sudanese press.
