DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Eydís Eir Björnsdóttir
Eydís Eir Brynju- Björnsdóttir is an icelandic filmmaker. She studied writing and directing in the Icelandic film school, directing in FAMU and entrepreneurship. She was nominated for the Edda awards, the Oscar qualifying, Icelandic academy awards for her first short film Islandia (2019) it’s based on her own story. She has worked on film productions for companies such as Sagafilm. (Stella Blómkvist, Flatey Enigma). She has experience as broadcasting director, art director & set designer in film and TV.
