DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Juan Pablo Etcheverry
Artist born in Uruguay with Spanish nationality. He graduated from the Barcelona Academy of Fine Arts specializing in drawing, an expert in animation and digital graphics. Since 1997 he has been the author of animated short films, recognized with numerous awards and has participated in international exhibitions and festivals. His stop motion animation “Minotauromaquia” was nominated for the Goya, the 2005 European Film Awards and in 2015 was selected as part of the Spanish animation retrospective “Del trazo al píxel”. Since 2011 he lives in Italy where he regularly teaches stop motion animation courses for children and work as a freelance editor and VFX. Since 2018, in collaboration with Teriaca Entertainment, he has been making short films in 3D animation and video clips, such as his awared work for Sergio Cammariere "Con te Sarò" and "Girotondo per Gretta.
