DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Toke Madsen
Toke Madsen is a filmmaker from Svendborg, Denmark. From early on, he developed a passion for visual storytelling, which eventually led him to join The Animation Workshop, where, for the next three years, he would study Computer Graphic Arts. During his studies, he aspired to be as well rounded as he could, so he could have an understanding of the many aspects of the craft. He focused on both the creative, and the technical aspect of animation, layout, lookdev, production, pipeline, etc. In his last year, he assumed the role of director for his graduation film, “MANO”. In his work, he strives towards conveying a specific mood, a feeling that takes center stage. Toke is striving towards making short films and series with a strong sense of mood, intimacy and authentic atmosphere.
