July 5, 2008. Marc, a 14 year old boy, plunges into the waters of the Rivière-des-Prairies while driving a stolen car. Invincible traces the 48 hours leading up to this incident as Marc confronts his desperate need for freedom.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY​ - Vincent René-Lortie

Vincent René-Lortie is a Montreal-based filmmaker whose work consists of several short experimental films and music videos. In recent years, he has been nominated twice for the UK Music Video Awards and the prestigious JUNO Awards. With a focus on dreamlike and surreal narratives, his work crosses the genres of animation, science fiction, and dance film. More recently, Vincent has focused on creating two fictional projects, including the short film Invincible, currently in distribution, and the film The Skin of the Other, which will go into production in 2022.
