DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Christos Kardana
Christos Kardana is a screenwriter and director with dual Greek Cypriot and British nationality. Originally a marine biology graduate, he worked in dive exploration and underwater camerawork before transitioning to storytelling. His work has been supported by the CineStory Foundation, the British Film Institute, and the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship. He was selected for Creative Europe’s Midpoint Institute Writers Room, BFI Network x BAFTA Crew, and Seriencamp Conference for TV series development. Christos’ latest short film, Icarus, is a UK–France–Belgium co-production, made with the participation of France TV and the CNC. His feature film Burning Sea is in development with Grasp The Nettle (UK), Early Day Films (UK), and Graal (Greece).
