In the late 90s, Emilie, a 17-year-old girl, lives with her mother in the suburbs of Paris. One evening, she goes with her best friend to a neighborhood party several kilometers away from their home. Her father is supposed to pick them up.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Magali Miniac
Trained as an actress, Magali performs on stage and on screen in various genres. She began her writing journey with sketches for open mic nights at the Théâtre Trévise (FEALD), and later ventured into longer formats when she joined the Palmade workshops in 2014. Finally, she delved into playwriting. «Tirée par les cheveux» is her debut screenplay. In addition to acting and writing, she directed her first play at the National Theatre of Monrovia, Liberia, in 2010 and repeated the experience in France starting in 2012. She regularly serves as an external consultant on various theater and circus projects.
