DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Chu Chun-Teng
Chu Chun-Teng received his MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2010. He initially majored in Film Directing and Cinematography, with his undergraduate short lm, e House of Sleeping Beauty (2006), inspired by Yasunari Kawabata's novel. e lm received international recognition and was selected at festivals such as the 28th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the 19th Singapore International Film Festival...etc. After completing his B.A. in Film, Chu shifted his focus to contemporary art. Director CHU CHUN-TENG His work explores themes of individual existence, social hierarchy, and political conict, reecting the dilemmas of modern society. Spanning lm, expanded cinema, and contemporary art. His works have been showcased at major festivals and art institutions worldwide, including the 7th Seoul International Film Festival, the 2014 Taipei Biennial, Kunsthaus Essen, Shanghai Contemporary Art Museum, Glasgow Center for Contemporary Arts, and Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art.
