Cardboard

When an overwhelmed, single dad pig moves his piglets into a rundown trailer park, he fears he’s failed his family. But soon his kids create a wildly imaginative game from a simple cardboard box, and Dad has a choice: dwell on the past, or join them on their intergalactic adventure.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Jean-Philippe Vine

J.P. Vine directed Locksmith Animation’s debut feature film Ron’s Gone Wrong. With a foundation as a theatre designer, J.P. started his animation career at Aardman Animations, where he directed episodes of the Emmy and BAFTA award-winning Shaun The Sheep. Whilst there, he was also Story Lead on the Oscar nominated feature Pirates! Band of Misfits. In 2012 he was recruited by Pixar, where his storyboard work was featured in the Oscar winning Inside Out, and The Good Dinosaur. Cardboard is his first short film.
