Sanja is a tough 13-year-old girl who doesn’t like to show her emotions to anyone, least of all to her crush Darko, but when she starts to suspect that something has happened to her troublesome but beloved dog Krle, it will become ever so hard to keep her feelings under control.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY​ - Gorana Jovanović

Gorana Jovanović is a writer and director from Belgrade. After graduating from the University of Westminster, Gorana worked as a script consultant and writer on several feature and short films, before starting to produce her own films. She wrote the short British drama MERCURY (2018, dir. Kyla Simone Bruce), which won the Best Screenplay award at the 2018 Festival Européen Court Métrage in Nice. Her 2020 short film ARMADILA premiered in the TeenArena section of Sarajevo Film Festival and, after being selected to screen in competition at Uppsala, Trieste and Go Short - Nijmegen, ARMADILA won the Oscar-qualifying Best Film award at Vienna Shorts and the Best Short Film award at Motovun Film Festival, becoming the festival’s EFA Short Film Candidate.
