Necla and Cemal, trying to go from their village to the city center, find themselves in a stranger’s car. Suspicion brews as the driver, Hidayet, probes the two’s guarded silence, sensing hidden truths. This never ending journey does not end in peace, Necla an Cemal will be able to find some peace of mind.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Deniz Kezik
Deniz Kezik was born in Erzincan, Turkey, in 1992. In 2011, he began studying Foreign Trade at Nevşehir University, but left the program after the first semester. The following year, he enrolled in the Turkish Language and Literature program at Erzincan University. After two years, he decided to change both his university and major, and in 2014, he started studying Radio, Television, and Cinema at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, from which he graduated in 2018. During and after his university years, he worked in Istanbul in the fields of photography, video, and editing. In the summer of 2020, he returned to Çanakkale, where he continued producing and working in these areas. In 2023, he moved back to Istanbul and worked as an art assistant and assistant director on various music videos and commercials. In 2025, he completed his first short film All That Belongs to Us, which is currently in the festival circuit. He is currently working toward completing his second short film, A Name Without a Face, in 2026.
