Inside a cafe, while smoking a whole pack of cigarettes, a man poses an ambitious question: “What is Love?”. A collection of vignettes and situations will lead the man to the desired conclusion.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY​ - Alberto Mielgo

Alberto Mielgo (born 29 April 1979) is a Spanish director, artist, and animator. He is a pioneer of digital art and an influential pillar in the modern animation industry. His accolades include three Emmy Awards and two Annie Awards. Among his early projects and collaborations, most noticeable are THE GORILLAZ , the intro cinematic of THE BEATLES ROCK BAND, and Disney’s TRON: UPRISING , for which he won an Emmy Award and Annie Award. He is responsible for the iconic look of Sony ́s Oscar® winning film INTO THE SPIDERVERSE , as the original Production Designer. In 2019 Mielgo wrote, directed, and designed THE WITNESS an episode for the Netflix animation anthology series LOVE, DEATH & ROBOTS , which was produced by David Fincher and Tim Miller. THE WITNESS went on to win 3 Emmys, as well as an Annie award
