DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Arian Çuliqi
Arian Çuliqi (b. 1960, Shkodër) is an Albanian film and television director, screenwriter, actor and producer. Active since the 1990s, he has built a prolific career primarily in comedy and television, directing and writing works including Dashi pa brirë (1993), Pak freskët sonte (1994), Borxhliu (1999), Pas një lajmi (2001), Piruet (2005) and Vdekje me porosi (2014). His work also includes documentary filmmaking, among them Zyliha Miloti, aktorja e 1.000 roleve, produced by RTSH. Çuliqi has been recognized for his longstanding contribution to Albanian comedy and performing arts, and holds the title “Mjeshtër i Madh.”
