The child returns to her mother’s home and begins to imitate the family dog. After the animal’s death, the fragile balance between mother and child is disrupted. Their coexistence turns into a quiet struggle as they adjust to the changed power dynamics.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Pepe Harder
Pepe Harder is a writer-director and actor based between Mölln in northern Germany, Berlin and Zurich. He studied acting at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and has worked across theatre, film and television. He is currently completing a Master's degree in Film at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). His film education also includes guest seminars at the London Film School, Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and HFF Munich. He holds a Master's degree in Psychoanalysis from GCAS College Dublin. Harder wrote, directed and produced On the Leash.
