DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Yi Lu
Yi Lu (b. 1998) is a writer, director, and editor currently based in Hong Kong. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, he works across narrative fiction, experimental documentary, and commercials. Yi has worked on commercials for clients including Apple, Chanel, and Versace, and served as 1st AD on the feature film Ephemera, which premiered at the 25th Tribeca Film Festival. In 2024, he was selected for the Pedro Costa Lab presented by Playlab. His experimental documentary A Small Alley Dreams of Us is in Official Competition at the 24th Tirana International Film Festival (Oscar®, Student Academy Award®, and European Film Awards qualifying).
