Exhausted, Yasmin (28) struggles through her shift as a paramedic. She fights her way through the day, juggling critical emergency calls and the pressure of supporting her family alone. When she's forced to secretly take her little sister along in the ambulance, she's on the verge of losing control on the way to a cardiac arrest.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Jona Schloßer
Jona Schlosser is a filmmaker with a strong narrative voice and a distinctive visual sensibility. At just 16, he directed the feature-length documentary My Big Journey (2018). His early short films, Verzeih mir, Vater and Allein, screened internationally, including at LA Shorts, and received the German Youth Film Award multiple times. Since 2021, Jona has been studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. During his studies, he created the short film Beyond the Sea, which was nominated at In the Palace 2025, among others, as well as the social spot Kunye, which received Silver at the German Advertising Film Award and the 1.4 Awards. His latest film, Trance, a co-production with SWR, has been selected for the International Film ShortFest Palm Springs 2026 and In the Palace 2026. Alongside its festival run, Jona is currently developing his debut feature film. Based in Munich, but working wherever there’s parmesan.
