DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Gevorg Nersesyan
Gevorg Nersesyan was born in Goris in 1995 into a family with a military background. His father, a cinephile, passed on his love of films to him. As a teenager, he knew he wanted to become a director. At 18, he enrolled in the Yerevan State Theatre and Film Institute, where he studied documentary filmmaking and editing. During this time, he also worked at Hamazgayin state theater, managing light and sound. Upon graduating, he began directing documentaries and music videos. In 2024, he directed his first short film, emphasizing the use of the Goris dialect, the language of his native region.
