Overview

Bunker
Sam’s mother didn’t show up at work this morning. As usual, while he was supposed to handle his move out of the house, the young man in his twenties drops his plans to take care of her. He will have to lie, cover things up, put on a brave face, threaten, forget himself…

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Colin Javaux
From his drama studies at IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion), Colin Javaux developed a passion for stepping behind the camera, preferring to write and direct rather than remain on stage. Upon graduating with distinction, he was immediately hired as an assistant director for a production at the Royal Opera of Wallonia and the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi. He went on to perform on stage and appear in several Belgian TV series such as Typique, La Théorie du Y, and Lucas. In 2019, based on a text written for his graduation thesis, he co-wrote and co-directed the short film Désert. Self-produced on a minimal budget, the film allowed him to acquire valuable technical and creative experience. Désert was selected by the Brussels Short Film Festival and won the Jury Prize at the 2021 Young Filmmakers Festival. This film marked the beginning of a close collaboration with Abyssal, with whom Colin went on to direct a variety of short-form content: music videos and commercials. He is also one of the founding members of the Canine Collectif, a group of 11 actor-creators united since 2015 to tell stories together
