DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Renato Balla
Renato Balla (b. 1995 Albania, Dr; lives and works in Tirana, Al) is a film director and photographer working across both mediums, exploring and finding unique narratives. He first started image-making at a very young age and after that, he transitioned to filmmaking. Filmmaking came as a need to watch his own stories and characters in motion. Renato Balla at the 4th edition of “Biennale di Arte Contemporanea di Salerno” was the second-place winner in the category for photography. He was also selected as one of the best weekly entries at the Sony photo festival in 2018. Beyond his recognition, in photography, he has been Official Selected in different film festivals and platforms such; FIickFair, Lift-Off Global Network session 2020, ThinkShorts, and Concordia film festival.
