DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Haohao Qiaoshi Liu

Haohao Qiaoshi Liu (*2002, Finland) is a Finnish-Chinese writer-director and cinematographer based in Sydney. Her directorial debut short film Early Years (2024) premiered at the Helsinki International Film Festival. In May 2025, she graduated cum laude from Columbia University majoring in Film and Media. Her latest short film A Little Regret in Helsinki (2025) premiered at Leiden Shorts (Talking Shorts) and was recently selected by Tirana International Film Festival (Oscar®, Student Academy Award®, and European Film Awards qualifying).
