Cold Snap
Anna returns to her family’s farm, but her mother is rattled by the unexpected visit. Over a fraught weekend, the two women struggle to connect as they face up to an imminent loss.

DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Ellen Evans
Ellen Evans is an award-winning British filmmaker. Ellen's short documentaries have screened internationally at festivals including Sundance, SXSW, Hot Docs and Sheffield DocFest. Her most recent documentary, Motherland, received critical attention from The Guardian, The Evening Standard and the Financial Times. In 2020, she won a Grierson Award for her BFI-funded short, Country Girl. Cold Snap is Ellen's first drama. Ellen lives and works in London, where she is a lecturer on the MFA Creative Documentary by Practice at UCL.
