DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY​ - Alisi Telengut

Alisi Telengut est une femme artiste canadienne d’origine mongole. Elle crée des films d’animation image par image réalisée à la main, avec la peinture comme support, sous caméra, générant des peintures en mouvement. Ses films récents ont été primés lors du Festival international du film de Stockholm, du Festival du Film Sarasota, Festival international du film de Montréal. Présentés à Sundance, au TIFF, au AFI, à Slamdance et dans de nombreux festivals du film et d’expositions d’images en mouvement. Ses films contribuent dans plusieurs séminaires à la recherche ethnoculturelle. Alisi Telengut is a Canadian artist of Mongolian descent. She creates animation frame by frame under the camera, with painting as the medium, to generate movement and explore hand-made and painterly visuals for her films. Her works received multiple international awards and nominations. In addition to being screened at Sundance, Slamdance, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), AFI, Stockholm Film Festival, ZINEBI, Ann Arbor, and various worldwide film venues and exhibitions as animation and moving image artworks, these films have also contributed to enthnographic and ethnocultural research archives.
