Samir, a 16-year-old Moroccan fisherman, discovers his attraction towards men when he meets Louis, a tourist traveling with his wife. When Louis faces the worst, Samir is the only one who can help him.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY - Philippe Grenier
Phil Grenier, a multidisciplinary director (advertising, TV, fiction, music videos), is known for his cinematic aesthetic, his mastery of storytelling and his well-defined universes. Since entering the advertising industry, Philippe has directed several messages for clients such as SAAQ, the Solidarity Fund FTQ, MEES, Subaru, Loto-Québec, Interac, Héma-Québec, Tourisme Montréal, OIIQ, IGA, Tel-Jeunes and the Quebec Cancer Foundation. In fiction, he is represented by the Maxime Vanasse agency (MVA). In 2021, Philippe directed the second season of the fantasy thriller Le 422 broadcast on Télé-Québec. In 2022, he will direct a few episodes of the daily show District 31 as well as 26 episodes of Premier Trio, a new series that will air on Radio-Canada this summer. Philippe is finishing post-production of the film Muscat, a short film financed by the SODEC and the CALQ shot last summer in Morocco. He is beginning to write the feature film Suzanne, tu tombes, for which he has received support from SODEC and Telefilm Canada in development. Lastly, Philippe has directed numerous music videos for artists such as Half Moon Run, Beyries, Peter Henry Phillips and La Famille Ouellette (*Staff Pick Vimeo)
