Kevin Koch, born in 1995, traveled once around the world after graduating from high school, to surf the best waves in the world and then studied media science in Bayreuth. It was there that he discovered his love of filmmaking and has been studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg since 2020. "Blessing in Disguise" is his first animated film at film school. Emma Holzapfel, born in 2000, studies editing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Since graduating high school in 2018, she has been working as an assistant director on German and international film and television productions. and edits short films, music videos, YouTube and social media formats.
